Keyshawn Davis won the WBO lightweight championship Friday night at Madison Square Garden and had serious people with him.
His trainer Bomac is also trainer to Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford, one of, if not the or number two pound for pound boxer on Earth, whom said to Fight Hype after the fight he told Davis before he went into the ring:
“Of course, he was calm. He was prepared, you know what I mean? I told him to go out there, enjoy the moment. I said, ‘Man, just go have fun and do your thing.‘”
He did certainly that — a fourth round crushing knockout win.
Now a legitimate new star in the sport, too, moreover.
