Ahead of their big rematch on Saturday both boxers will be slowly turning on fight mode this week.
As the days go by, and weight is made, fight mode won’t actually be switched on properly until Saturday night.
One talking point ahead of Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol 2 was the former not shaking the latter’s hand at one point in the build up.
Chatting with Stomping Ground Bivol replied to this:
“Because, of course, yeah, because his character is like this; he doesn’t shake hands with his opponents. I’m shaking hands with my opponents, with people. Just different. Everybody’s different, and it’s fine.”
Neither boxer ever tends to bite at anything their opponents say or do before their fights.
They tend to let their fists do the talking.
