Former world champion Caleb Plant has an amazing story in the sport which is not over yet.
Plant lost his young infant daughter back in 2015 but would later win the world title in her honor.
Plant saying this on X carries a lot of merit and weight — hence it has got a big reaction online:
“Nothing wrong with a “regular” job. I also use to work in the steel yard all day then head to the gym. A man who works to provide for his family regardless of job title should be respected, much less the MAN who does that AND goes to the gym after to keep chasing his dreams.”
Many boxers in the early stages of their pro careers survive on little and often have to rely on lifeline sponsorships.
People forget that when they see them become champion of the world and all the Ferraris and so forth.
Plant only boxed once last year, hopefully we see him more active this year.
