Talks of a possible Gervonta Davis vs Shakur Stevenson fight have surfaced in recent days which came be surprise.
As is often the case in boxing, just when you think it is over for a big fight, boxing pulls you back in and can make them happen, part of the charm of the sport for fans maybe.
Speaking to Kugan Cassius of IFL TV boxing star Terence Crawford said of a possible ‘Tank’ vs Stevenson bout:
“I think that’s a great fight. I think it’s a massive fight, you know. If Eddie Hearn can pull that off, then so be it—that’s great for boxing.”
Stevenson’s promoter Hearn is pushing for it and both have to get through two fights first.
Stevenson tonight and Davis on March 1st against Lamont Peterson.
