The ex Bivol wife of the champion cheered for opponent Artur Beterbiev winning the first time they fought in 2024.
At the time last year she was very happy that rival Beterbiev beat her former husband Bivol.
Fast forward to this weekend and Bivol avenged the defeat and also avenged the above cheering from his ex wife for his rival in 2024.
For some reason boxing fans are absolutely delighted today below, maybe you can’t blame them either, Bivol is genuinely one of the good guys in the sport and deserves all the success:
Ever the class act Bivol mentioned nothing of the above after the win of course, instead he celebrated with his team.
Well done to Matchroom and the Hearns too on their first ever undisputed world champion in men’s professional boxing this weekend with Bivol — Bivol himself gave credit to Hearn as the first person he thanked in his post fight speech.
Something that went maybe a little unnoticed too.
On another note, that thing recently from Ben Shalom the UK promoter of Boxxer on Hearn not wanting the Bakole fight for Anthony Joshua doesn’t seem to add up.
Hopefully Bakole can still get a big fight in Africa after losing to Joseph Parker this weekend on the same card as Bivol and Beterbiev.
