Shakur Stevenson boxed well tonight, picked apart his opponent and got the win inside the distance.
After the fight his rival Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis was obviously a topic of discussion.
Speaking to Fight Hub TV Stevenson said after his win tonight:
“No, I actually didn’t really watch him that much. But once again, Tank’s style—he’s a power puncher, a guy who’s trying to knock you out. I’m a guy who’s trying to break you down, pick you apart, and win. If the knockout comes, it comes. So, two different styles, but I’m better than him at the art of boxing.”
Good win for Stevenson tonight but Davis has Lamont Roach in front of him on March 1st next up.
If he were to win in style, the natural fight to make is with Stevenson.
