Shakur Stevenson won inside of nine rounds this weekend in a boxing beatdown, and breakdown, of good order.
Sure, it was a last minute opponent but a very good one at that in Josh Padley.
Speaking to BoxNation after his latest win in the boxing ring this weekend Stevenson kept it silent but violent for his rival Gervonta Davis:
“I’m the best fighter in the world, and if you think differently, come prove it.”
Hopefully he and ‘Tank’ can get the fight going this year soon.
Davis must win on March 1st though on Amazon Prime against Lamont Roach.
Stevenson gave Padley his first loss as a pro this weekend as well people must realize, the first in an impressive career of fifteen unbeaten pro fights before fighting Stevenson this weekend.
Stevenson defended his WBC lightweight world title with the win this weekend — his second defense.
