Artur Beterbiev coach Marc Ramsay gives his post-fight reaction to the loss to Dmitry Bivol in the rematch.
Speaking to Boxing King Media Ramsay said:
“We already knew in the fight that it was a very, very close fight. As a trainer in the corner, if a round is very close, I can’t assume it’s ours—I have to give it to the other team. I knew the fight was very close. I remember asking Artur, ‘We need to win those last two rounds to make sure we close the show.’ But that’s it. We knew it was close.”
Interesting.
Obviously it was close but most thought Bivol did deserve to get the nod.
They are 1-1 now so the logical decision is to make the third fight.
Fans will welcome it as well.
