Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis returns to the ring this weekend against Lamont Roach in New York.
Known for his brutal knockouts, Davis is also a brilliant, improving all the time boxer with lightning speed when he turns it on.
Speaking to PBC per Fight Hype ‘Tank’ said:
“It feels like… it actually feels like a home run. Like when someone hits the bat just right on the sweet spot and it goes far—that’s what it’s like. That’s how it feels when you hit somebody right on the button and you know you caught them real good. That’s how I feel.”
Davis will obviously be looking for another home run on Saturday night.
Roach will be too of course.
The clash of styles likely will result in some heavy bombs being thrown at the weekend.
Strap season as Davis likes to put it.
