World Boxing Reacts To Getting 2028 La Olympics Recognition

Some big news has come for the Olympics and the sport of boxing as it looks like boxing will not be removed from the Olympics now.

Amateur boxing has seen a lot going on in it in recent years, the last Olympics in France was not good at all.

That’s gone now and World Boxing has got the nod provisionally to govern the next one in 2028 in LA whom said via the chairman Gennady Golovkin:

“I am pleased that through the continuous efforts of all the people who support World Boxing, we have managed to achieve this result. Establishing an international federation built on the principles of integrity and fairness is our shared mission for the future generation of athletes and future champions. There is still a lot to do to achieve all the goals set, so we will not stop here.”

Good.

Keep it up.

Boxing without amateur boxing in the Olympics would have been no good.

Particularly as professional boxing is set to go into a boom time internationally.
