Long time team member of Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis Leonard Ellerbe has been going to bat for Davis on X following the draw with Lamont Roach.
Roach as many said going into the fight, is an outstanding fighter and a dangerous fighter in the division.
After the fight Davis’ rival Devin Haney got a bit of reaction on X when he asked where was Leonard Ellerbe after the loss, not spelling Ellerbe’s name correctly as Ellerbe got an even bigger reaction for his reply on X:
“I’m here champ, you spelled my name wrong, it’s spelled Leonard.”
All in good form and humor as usual in boxing.
Ultimately, boxing is in a great place at the moment with so many young champions and new stars breaking through in the sport and becoming big names in America and worldwide.
Haney and Davis both being two of them.
