Pound for pound star Shakur Stevenson was a keen viewer at the weekend of Tank vs Roach.
Ultimately the draw between Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach has now presented options for both fighters and the division, and weight classes nearby.
Shakur Stevenson said on X he welcomes a fight with Roach:
“We did he got me ready for the Valdez fight that’s also how I knew how the fight with him and tank would go frfr.. Lamont the truth would love to make this fight happen”
If that were to happen, it will be interesting to whom Davis fights next up.
Vasyl Lomachenko or some other big name is what is needed for Davis at this point to motivate him.
A rematch with Roach will surely carry motivation as well.
