Naoya Inoue Next Two Fights In 2025 Revealed

Naoya Inoue Next Two Fights In 2025 Revealed

‘The Monster’ Naoya Inoue from Japan has news breaking on not one but his next two fights this year.

A short time ago the Ring on X stated on Inoue:

“Naoya Inoue will defend his undisputed Ring, WBA, WBC, IBF & WBO super-bantamweight world titles vs Ramon Cardenas on Sunday, May 4th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and will then fight Murodjon Akhmadaliev on Sept 14th in Tokyo if he wins, The Ring has learned.”

Big news for Inoue and Japan and the US too.

Good to see him being boxed in the States and Japan — after all he is a big hit in the West too and will be a bigger one the more exposure he gets in places like America.

The second fight obviously is predicated on what happens in the first — don’t put it past Inoue getting one more fight in December too if he comes through those injury free and wins inside the distance.

Inoue had some injuries late last year which caused his first fight this year to be put back a bit, which he won by stoppage recently back in January inside of four violent rounds.

Boxing fans are looking forward to hopefully seeing Inoue taking on his fellow countryman world champion Junto Nakatani at some point — don’t rule that out for late December this year.

Japan does well in December typically for putting on big events in boxing — Inoue was lined up to fight on December 26th just gone but it was put back due to injury.

It is all to play for ahead for Inoue, considered by most to be one of the best pound for pound boxers in the sport today.
