After a controversial result in the big Gervonta Davis vs Lamont Roach fight in NYC a verdict has now come in the post-fight case.
In terms of Lamont Roach’s legal representatives trying to get the fight turned from a draw for a win for their client.
Per Lance Pugmire on X via Boxing Kingdom that will not be happening and the Commission will not be changing the result of the fight.
That’s the right answer. We thought they might do that.
Case dismissed. No verdict returned.
The best remedy for this is clearly, clearly an immediate rematch quickly which will sell hugely for both boxers, their teams and the sport.
The Barclays Centre in New York confirmed the first fight was a big success recently.
The rematch will be much bigger.
