Boxing stars Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney came face to face in a press conference environment for the first time since their fight.
They recently bumped into one another at an event in the UK but this was more a formal get together at a presser before the show they both will fight on at the beginning of May at Times Square.
Garcia erupted as soon as spoke of Haney:
“I’m really focused on just focused on whopping Devin Haney’s a** again, that’s all I’m really worried about. Not even to redeem myself but just to omit that bulls*** that Ostarine bulls*** — which you probably set up. Where’s your little brother? Is you’re brother in the house? Because you’re brother knew before anyone else. Corruption at its finest. They couldn’t take the loss.”
Haney said at one point:
“How did you test positive? You took your punishment because you knew you were guilty. You took your punishment because you knew you was guilty.”
Garcia later adding:
“Ostarine don’t help you block a left hook bro, you got hit like a thousand times.”
The two are fighting different opponents who are both dangerous but couldn’t help but laying into one another as soon as they could.
If they both win in May then the rematch will happen later this year.
Garcia is coming off a one year suspension from pro boxing due to trace amounts of an illegal substance in the first fight with Haney last year.
