Former opponent of world champion Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, is calling today’s big fight.
Later today in Australia on Fox Sports Australia Keith Thurman makes his comeback after a big lay off against Brock Jarvis.
Going into the fight many are questioning the ring rust and inactivity of Thurman, not least former world champion Shawn Porter.
Speaking to Fox Sports Australia before the fight Porter opined:
“Keith used to be—I don’t know if he’s still this guy—but especially when we fought in 2016, he was very unpredictable. He was very, very strong. With the kind of come-forward style that I have, you don’t want to come forward into that kind of power, you know? So, I think the power is still there. The thing I’m more concerned about, if anything, is whether he’s able to maintain the kind of work rate needed. That’s something Brock can do to win this fight—just continue to be consistently working every single round.”
