Pound for pound boxing star Naoya ‘The Monster’ Inoue from Japan has got a big reaction for his take on a kicking in a boxing ring here.
Nick Ball got the win at the weekend over former world champion TJ Doheny but during the fight he kicked Doheny at one point promoting outrage from some.
Potential opponent Inoue said on X which has not been picked up much in the West yet (translated from Japanese to English) of the UK’s Nick Ball:
“That ball is funny, but don’t kick it!!”
Over 4.5 million views and counting on that post on X so far.
He went on to say to Ball directly on X in English on making a fight against Ball:
“Two fists are enough for me.”
Adding then on a future fight:
“until that day comes, let’s increase each other’s value”
Inoue must first box twice more in 2025 with a full schedule already with those confirmed more or less now.
Big things ahead for both boxers though surely.
