The WBC boss spoke on St. Patrick’s Day 2025 as the organization goes from strength to strength.
There has been some talk about the belt organizations in boxing going away from boxing in the near future but this is not the case.
The WBC’s Mauricio Sulaiman said on X on St. Patrick’s Day:
“What is #StPatricksDay ? For me is friendship and happiness and a celebration to #Irish spirit which is proudly lived all over the world”
The WBC is headquartered in the great country of Mexico, a country that St. Patrick had a strong affiliation with as Mexico, like all countries, have had difficult histories with America, as did the native Americans and so on.
Important to note though that the good people in America in today’s times were not involved in that history. Present and future is what is most important.
