MMA star and former UFC champion Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson has given his take on Haney vs Garcia 2 and more.
Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia are set to have a rematch later this year should the two both win on the same card in May at Times Square.
Since the first fight, which was changed from a loss for Haney to a no contest due to adverse trace amounts of an illegal substance for Garcia, litigation proceeded — the two really don’t like one another at all.
Speaking to Fight Hub Jackson said was not impressed with it:
“Ryan’ll beat his a** again, and Devin Haney’ll learn not to be a jerk. You know, we all lose. Everybody can’t be undefeated. You win and lose, you know what I’m saying? You take the loss like a man. Don’t be going around suing people and saying all that stuff. Take your loss like a man like everybody else. Quit being a jerk.”
Ultimately the rematch is what boxing fans want to see and what the two fighters want most importantly.
First thing is first though, not easy fights next up in early May for either of the two.
