George Foreman Passes Away At 76 - George Kambosos Reacts

Two George’s in boxing have been in world news this weekend one for very sad reasons however.

George Kambosos Jr won a short time ago in a big event in Australia where he won by unanimous points decision.

Prior to the fight the sad news broke that boxing legend and former heavyweight champion George Foreman had passed away at the age of 76.

Kambosos said on X:

“A legend forever Big George Foreman!!! That’s so sad, RIP I will use you as more inspiration tonight and make the name George proud in your honour. RIP legend”

Well done to Kambosos on the win today and the respect shown to Foreman above.

Foreman maybe pulled off the greatest comeback in boxing history to become the oldest heavyweight champion in history.

A record that still stands today.
