After a late change of opponent George Kambosos Jr got the job done in some style back on home soil.
Fighting in Australia a short time ago Kambosos got off to a quick start, landing solid shots right in the very first round — not thrown off by the late change of opponent at all — always a professional Kambosos.
As the fight developed it livened up with Jake Wyllie returning fire at many points — two real blood and guts Australian warriors — no doubt about it.
Kambosos got cut later on in the fight, a very bad gash that looked like it was caused by a clash of heads stemming from an exchange on the inside.
In the end the fight went the distance but Kambosos emerged victor on points.
Unanimous decision as follows: 117-111, 117-111, 115-113
