Some bad news has hit and rocked the boxing world a short time ago as one legend reacts to the death of another.
The oldest heavyweight champion ever in boxing history, George Foreman, has passed away at the age of 76-years-old.
The youngest heavyweight champion ever in boxing history, Mike Tyson, said on X of the news:
“Condolences to George Foreman’s family. His contribution to boxing and beyond will never be forgotten.”
Well said.
George Foreman was one of the great stories in boxing, a fearsome, ferocious, fearless fighter in the ring.
A very good fighter.
Someone that hit fighters so hard he shattered bones in faces regularly.
Outside the ring Foreman was a tremendous entrepreneur and investor, some known to the public like his George Foreman grill, many successful investments and successful ventures not known to the public however.
Above all, Foreman was a heck of a guy, we take are hats off to him, one of the good fellas in boxing, no doubt.
An extremely sad day for the sport.
Sincere condolences to George Foreman’s kids, family and friends.
Rest easy champ.
