The boxing community is taking stock of some very heavy, heavy news in the sport after the death of one of its best fighting sons.
One of the greatest fighting sons in the sweet science that ever walked this Earth, George Foreman.
Saudi Arabia adviser Turki Alalshikh said of the passing on X:
“Sad news for me and the boxing world… The last boxing pillar for an unforgettable era has passed away today… May his soul rest in peace, Big George Foreman”
Such a great era of heavyweights with Foreman, Ali, Frazier, Norton and more of course.
