UK boxer and former world champion Amir Khan has given his reaction to the news of the legend’s passing.
Speaking to Boxing King Media Khan said of Foreman’s passing:
“I’ve known about George for a long time. I think he was a brilliant fighter. I knew of him when he fought Muhammad Ali. Everyone thought George Foreman was the one to knock Ali out, to hurt him, to literally kill him in that ring—that’s what people were saying, that he was going to get killed. Obviously, Ali won that fight. But George Foreman, what a great person he was.”
He certainly was.
As a good person as they came in the sport of boxing.
Fighters past and present continue to flood in with their respect for the man.
