Shakur Stevenson is not short of confidence and he is right to be with his work ethic, the boxing world has taken note.
Sure, some fans don’t enjoy defensive boxing and the art of hitting and not being hit, and that’s okay and fine too of course.
But anyone who knows boxing knows Shakur Stevenson is a special fighter — in the making still too — he hasn’t shown his best yet.
Speaking on X to pound for pound number one or number two Terence Crawford on a possible fight with ‘Tank’ Davis he said:
“Love u big brudda but nah I think me and cuz fight the biggest fight in the sport The PPV numbers gone be out of this world.. Watch what I say!!”
It is a great fight if it can be made.
Obviously it looks like ‘Tank’ will take on Lamont Roach in a rematch next up — quite rightly.
