Boxing star Garcia has opened up a bit more on the steroids, PEDs and drug claims made against him ahead of his comeback in 2025.
Garcia has been on suspension for a year but that is over at the start of May when he is back, as is Devin Haney too, both fighting on the same card at Times Square in a New York history first in boxing.
Speaking AK and Barak recently Garcia still strongly denies the PEDs and steroid claims that caused his ban last year after the first Devin Haney fight:
“I don’t know man. After what happened last year. It kind of killed that joy for me. Not only did they take my victory. The one I always wanted against an elite fighter. Someone I thought would give me respect in boxing.”
Adding:
“Yeah I had the antics, I was drinking doing all that but one thing I don’t do is take steroids. I know in my heart they set me up that way. Regardless of their claims.”
Ultimately if both Garcia and Haney win in early May the rematch is on for later this year.
That is where it will be settled.
