Terence Crawford is in focused preparation for a likely super fight with Canelo Alvarez in 2025, he speaks on it and more below.
Crawford knows boxing is growing hugely as a sport and it will be a big time for him and big opportunity this year against Canelo.
Speaking to the Pound 4 Pound Podcast Crawford said:
“I feel I got the speed over Canelo. I got the reach over him. He might have the size and power. But I feel like I got the better boxing skills.”
He added:
“He does have a lot of power. But all those guys that you named are not as skillful as me. I’m sorry. No disrespect to none of those fighters. But when you see the skill level. It’s night and day.”
Clearly no fear from Crawford — which he is right to be.
A tremendous fighter but he knows he will need to be sharper than ever against Alvarez.
Remember though, Alvarez must first beat William Scull in May next up which is no easy task.
