Respected analyst Teddy Atlas reveals his all-time top 10 greatest heavyweight boxers ever and Ali is not number 1.
Following George Foreman’s passing recently — and it is one heck of a list right here below.
Speaking on his podcast Atlas revealed them to be:
- Joe Louis
2. Muhammad Ali
3. Jack Johnson
4. Rocky Marciano
5. George Foreman
6. Open for Oleksandr Usyk — to be determined after his career ends he mentioned.
7. Gene Tunney
8. Jack Dempsey
9. Larry Holmes
10. Lennox Lewis
All in all, that list will evoke some reaction among boxing fans.
Joe Louis ahead of Ali for one.
Respect though that he has Lewis on it and Usyk as high as he does as well.
Foreman at number five maybe a little high for some but surely deserves top 10 in anyone’s list.
