Anthony Joshua Promoter Reacts To Deontay Wilder’s Return To Boxing

Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has given his thoughts on Wilder’s big return to heavyweight boxing.

Anthony Joshua promoter Eddie Hearn hasn’t ruled out a fight between AJ and Wilder in the future but it is unlikely next up for Joshua.

Speaking to IFL TV, Joshua Promoter Eddie Hearn said:

“I don’t know. I think the guy lost to Richard Torrez. Look Deontay needs it. He needs that confidence booster. So no problem.”

He added:

“It’s good to see him back. Hopefully he can get himself back in a division that’s wild.”

It is surely a wild west of a division at the moment.

The heavyweight division is the Kingpin of divisions in the sport.

Always guaranteed big bombs, heavy hits and knockouts.

That’s why boxing fans love heavyweight boxing and always will.

Wilder delivers all of the above and fights to the end.

People are understandably concerned but he wouldn’t be coming back unless he thought he had some big fights left in him.
