The greatest women’s boxer that ever lived Claressa Shields has absolutely exploded on boxing star Ryan Garcia here.
And then some.
Garcia returns to the sport shortly following suspension for trace amounts of an illegal substance last year before his fight with Devin Haney, something he still strongly disputes.
Shields while speaking with Fight Hub let loose on Garcia ahead of his upcoming fight against Rolly Romero in early May on a card Haney and Teofimo Lopez are also boxing on at Times Square:
“Oh man. I think it’s going to be a wild unorthodox fight. But my heart is with Rolly. I’m hoping he catches Ryan and knocks his lights out.”
Later saying:
“Because Ryan is a drug cheat and he knows it. The world keeps saying, ‘Oh, Devin Haney didn’t get out of the way of that hook.’ But he got hit with a steroid hook.”
Further mincing Garcia saying:
“I don’t know why people keep brushing that off. It wasn’t just a regular punch. That punch had extra power behind it because Ryan tested positive for PEDs.”
Wow, heavy hits there from Shields on Garcia.
