The greatest women’s boxer that ever lived expressed some concerns for one of the best fighters in the world.
That’s Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis.
A boxer whom was not at his best last time out recently against Lamont Roach who fought to a majority draw.
It is thought the rematch can happen as early as June 21st this summer.
Speaking to Fight Hub Shields said on Davis:
“I think he’d be an even better fighter if he went and did therapy as soon as possible because I can tell he’s a little sad. A little depressed. Even before this fight (the rematch). I think it’ll be a better fight this time. I think Lamont has the mental edge.”
She added:
“I’ve done plenty of camps where I was depressed and dealing with anxiety. It’s not an easy thing to get over. Especially when you don’t have the support from certain people you used to have. And you’re not motivated. It can be very tough.”
With respect, rubbish.
Davis is one of the most lethal, effective knockout artists of these times.
He had a bad night. An off night. It happens.
Davis will be stronger than ever as always. No worries.
He knows there is no such thing as nice guys in life and that there is a difference between a good man and a nice guy.
Good men are dangerous, ruthless individuals who do not hesitate in decisions.
Nice guys are not good people — he knows the difference.
Davis is a good man but must be more ruthless with those who are not of use to him or of evil near him.
Surrounding himself only with those who can lift him up or benefit him or whom have his best interests at heart.
Davis did enough for people over the years he must focus on himself and those who can benefit him only now. Simple.
Davis has to be selfish with his time and resources to bull doze opponents again as he brings his career in the fight game to an epic knockout winning fashion.
He knows what to do.
That said, maybe he can make some improvements in the next week or two before he gets into the gym again.
Roll on the rematch.
The provisional date is not long away.
Await official confirmation shortly.
Hold on and standby.
