Deontay Wilder returns to heavyweight soon enough.

Speaking to Boxing King Media and others in a press scrum Hearn said Anthony Joshua vs Wilder is still on the cards:

“The guy he’s fighting I think he got stopped by Richard Torrez right? Wilder probably needs an easy comeback fight. If he can’t handle this guy he should retire.”

He added:

“But Deontay Wilder in the heavyweight division is great for the sport. Hopefully he looks good. I don’t rule out an AJ fight but the June date might not work for AJ’s return. We’ll see.”

Wilder returns this June and Joshua is still looking for an opponent at the moment.
