Bruce Carrington produced a big win inside the distance over Enrique Vivas and spoke about he pulled it off afterwards here.
The fight took place as part of a solid night of boxing in Las Vegas.
Speaking after the fight at the post-fight press scrum Bruce Carrington said:
“Well you know Enrique Vivas starts off pretty fast. He has a really fast pace and wants to make you uncomfortable with his pressure. That’s what I wanted him to do because he starts to open up and then I was going to slip in my clean, planted shots between his. I’d probably play the ropes, make him feel like he’s getting some shots off. Then slide in my right hands, uppercuts, jabs, and jabs to the body.”
He added further:
“Little things he doesn’t even know are breaking him down because he’s so focused on what he’s doing. I just mentally broke him down like that. Once I caught him with an uppercut. I think I saw his eyes go a little woozy and then I landed a nice combination. He was hurt and I got him out of there. Obviously I knocked him out. He’s never been knocked out before.”
Big things ahead for Carrington.
Whether it is someone like Fulton or even Inoue remains to be seen however.
What a win this weekend though, his stock has gone up big time.
