Boxing promoter Jake Paul and MVP have secured another massive, huge win in the sport of boxing.
For some years now an ongoing civil case has been ongoing between Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing and Jake Paul’s MVP Promotions.
Jake Donovan on X confirms a short time ago however:
“Matchroom Boxing’s multimillion-dollar defamation lawsuit against Most Valuable Promotion was dismissed with prejudice by U.S. District Court’s Southern District of NY on Monday.”
Adding:
“The settlement ends a 2 1/2 year dispute, when Matchroom took exception to Jake Paul’s claim that judge Glenn Feldman was on its payroll. The case was still on file ahead of and through Katie Taylor-Amanda Serrano II; now they present for Taylor-Serrano III free of legal beef.”
Very good. That’s the right answer.
Once again, as predicted the judge did not proceed further and will not anymore with that.
We knew that judge would do the right thing.
Eddie Hearn and Jake Paul must now work together importantly at a very important time in the sport as two powerhouse boxing promoters.
To continue to make the biggest fights in boxing that boxing fans want to see.
This is what is most important.
It’s all about the fights.
Case dismissed.
