Deontay Wilder Breaks His Silence On 2025 Comeback Fight

Deontay Wilder Breaks His Silence On 2025 Comeback Fight

Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has now broken his silence on his upcoming comeback fight this summer in boxing.

Wilder takes on Tyrrell Herndon next up on June 27th which is a Friday night.

Speaking to leading MMA pundit Ariel Helwani who also sometimes now covers boxing — Wilder said:

“There’s still a lot of excitement to come and who better to bring the excitement. Especially when Deontay Wilder is fully healthy. Physically, mentally and emotionally? So here I am. Yet again. Pursuing my goal of becoming a unified champion.”

A big goal from Wilder.

Particularly with the elite fighters around now.

No one can ever question Wilder’s heart or punch power.

Both are as good as they get.
