Naoya Inoue And Junto Nakatani Honored At Japan Awards

Inoue-Nakatani

Two of Japan’s great boxers of these times met at a ceremony this week in Japan.

Naoya Inoue and Junto Nakatani are two of the country’s champion professional boxers.

Inoue considered pound for pound one of the best in the entire sport.

Per the WBC on Instagram they received the following this week:

“Congrats to @NaoyaInoue_410 and @Junto.N who were honored at the JBC Awards. The Monster took home the JBC Fighter of the Year, while Junto was awarded Best Technique and Best Knockout of the Year.”

The pair also spoke at the awards in an interesting exchange here.

Apparently both want to see the fight between one another happen next year.

Inoue must first come through two more fights at least this year.

In a very exciting time right now for Japanese boxing and boxing as a sport presently.
