The legend that is former world champion Ricky ‘The Hitman’ Hatton caught up with Carl ‘The Cobra’ Froch.
Both former world champions. Hatton now an accomplished trainer and maanger.
Froch an accomplished podcaster who’s podcast continues to take off.
Speaking to Froch on his YouTube channel and podcast ‘The Hitman’ said of his top UK fighters in boxing ever:
“I’d say Joe Calzaghe, Lennox Lewis and Nigel Benn. Nigel Benn was my hero coming through. I wanted to be like Nigel because when I was just getting into boxing. That was the Benn, Eubank and Watson era.”
He added:
“I think Michael Watson was probably the better of the three of them. But Nigel and Chris Eubank made each other because they had that rivalry, you know. Michael Watson I think was probably the better of the three.”
