Heavyweight contender Hughie Fury stopped his latest opponent Dan Garber inside the distance Friday night but had to overcome adversity.

Fury stopped Garber inside of five rounds at York Hall on Friday night.

But what many don’t realize or know, until after the fight, that Fury injured his hand in his final spar ahead of last night’s win.

After the fight Fury revealed the injury and the pain he was in every time he threw a punch last night. Making the win more impressive.

Fury boxed well over all and it was his seventh win on the spin in recent years.

Likely he will be stepped up next up as he bids to get back into the world title contending picture at heavyweight.
