Canelo Alvarez has a big fight in front of him next up before he faces Crawford but one fighter is only picking one winner.
Vergil Ortiz Jr is 23-0-21 KO and one of the biggest punchers in boxing pound for pound for some.
Speaking to the Ring Podcast Vergil Ortiz opined on Alvarez vs Crawford:
“To keep it real I just think he’s too small. I know he weighed in at like 180 right now. But putting on the weight and actually belonging at that weight are two different things. I’d understand maybe if he fought someone of less caliber. But this is Canelo we’re talking about.”
Obviously siding with Canelo with Crawford being too small in his view.
Canelo first fights William Scull next month first up however.
If he wins then yes the big Canelo vs Crawford fight will be on then.
