Some big news has come out of the US that may not just effect boxing but other combat sports too, this is no joke this without a shadow of a doubt.
Years ago the Muhammad Ali Act was put in place basically to stop unscruplous promoters taking advantage of fighters.
That’s in very basic terms, mind you.
The excellent Lance Pugmire has reported on X the following however (via Boxing Kingdom) as regards the new TKO Boxing:
“Dana White’s TKO Boxing have officially requested small changes to the Muhammad Ali Act. Like the UFC, TKO boxing aims to sign fighters, put them in a league and provide belts to them. [@pugboxing]”
Here’s what boxing fans think of this so far:

People need to be patient and not quick to write anything off at the same time.
It will be interesting to see how much time Dana White puts into boxing shortly outside of the UFC.
Don’t fans want to see the best fight the best very regularly just like in the good old days of Hagler, Hearns, Duran and Leonard?
Let’s see what happens.
