Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis really paid back Matchroom, Hearn and DAZN and then some this weekend like some thought he would.
Surely DAZN, Matchroom and Hearn will be looking at this as a tremendous return on investment for the faith they paid in Ennis for years.
He stopped Lithuania’s first and only ever world champion in pro boxing history last night and his promoter Eddie Hearn said on X after:

The competition and level of boxing going on worldwide is on a never before seen level in all weight classes.
Ennis proved a tough sell with not a lot biting on some of his stories before the fight but that will change after this weekend of course.
