The 2025 Riyadh Season WBC Boxing Grand Prix kicks off this week, running from April 17 to April 20. Here’s what you need to know.

World Boxing Grand Prix Location And Venue
It will take place at the BLVD City Global Theater in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Basically it’s a massive single elimination tournament featuring 128 fighters across four divisions.
Comprising from featherweight to heavyweight.
With 32 boxers per division. Representing over 40 countries.

World Boxing Grand Prix Time Table
- This is the first-ever Boxing Grand Prix. Spanning four days. Starting Thursday April 17th and wrapping up on Sunday April 20th 2025.
- The tournament includes opening-round matches across featherweight, lightweight, middleweight and heavyweight divisions.
- Fights are expected to begin each day around 8:00 PM AST (Arabia Standard Time) which is the local time in Riyadh. Since AST is UTC+3 — here is more times below.

World Boxing Grand Prix Fights And Format
- Specific fight matchups for the opening rounds haven’t been fully announced yet. But with 32 fighters per division that’s 16 fights per division in the first phase. 64 fights total over the four days.
- Expect a mix of established names and up-and-coming boxers from over 40 countries. Making this a truly global event.
- The tournament is single-elimination. So that means winners advance each day until the finals on April 20th.
