Former world champion had his eye on the big news in sports at the weekend at the US masters in golf that shook the world of sport through its core.
So much so even boxers and former world champions such as the renowned Carl Frampton noticed.
Speaking on Instagram of Rory Mcilroy’s big win Frampton said:
“By far and a way the greatest sports man or woman to come from this island.”
Referring to Ireland of course.
You know, he is maybe right on the above.
Surely Mcilroy will go down as the greatest sportsman and athlete ever after the weekend at the Masters.
What a win.
