According to World Boxing News Briggs is considering a July 1st fight against another timer and another former heavyweight champion.

Briggs is now 53 and McCall is incredibly 59 — still competing as a pro boxer up until recently.
McCall has actually boxed twice in recent times — recording stoppage wins last year in 2024 here and in February of this year.
Both low key opponents and wins. Mind you.
