The father of Devin Haney and promoter of Ryan Garcia, De La Hoya, have not being seeing eye to eye lately.
That is putting things rather mildly and conservatively, too.
In the latest batting back against De La Hoya — Haney senior said on X via Ring Magazine and via his own social media:
“Bill Haney sending Oscar De La Hoya a message ahead of Devin Haney’s return to the ring: “Jose Ramirez is getting beat up and ain’t nothing you can do about it Oscar. We running through Golden Boy and anybody else that Turki Alalshikh put on the table.”
The rematch between Haney’s son and Ryan Garcia is expected to happen later in 2025.
The two will first box on the same card, the same as heavyweight Martin Bakole too, shortly.
