TKO Boxing is being formed by Turki Alalshikh and Dana White but some misinformation has now been addressed.
It is not fully clear how TKO will operate as of yet but what we know is it will be big, and a good thing, for the sport.
TKO has gotten a lot of reaction so far from promoters and organizations.
Turki Alalshikh speaking via Ring Magazine on X has confirmed no one will be deleted from boxing and they will work with Commissions, promoters and existing organizations like the WBC and so on.
Good to see him clear the air on that.
It will be interesting to see how things take shape and who he gets involved and what other countries maybe involved.
Boxing is a very international sport and going after the non-English speaking market is going to be key as well.
Something not really tapped into by anyone ever properly in the West, some success but not on a mass level of success.
That will have a big net positive on the West and the English-speaking world, as well, of course, as many speak multiple languages and sports fans come within that demographic too in different countries.
Spanish speakers, Portuguese speakers, Chinese speakers, German, Polish, Japanese, Russian speakers, Hebrew speakers, Bengali speakers, all come into that, to name a few.
There is simple language translation software that can also be used to facilitate this in the online streaming and/or online content space as well for the sport, as is the case for DAZN and other content providers in other professional sports as well.
Something for the appropriate people to think about.
They are not thinking big enough on this thing yet.
Go further.
Think bigger.
Do more.
Be more aggressive.
Be smarter.
Do good.
TKO despite early critics must press on and bulldoze through any teething issues.
It will succeed.
Maybe TKO is not the final name either for it, who knows.
