Speaking to IFL TV alongside Taylor after the fights in Vegas Shields said:
“Earlier we were talking about weight classes and I mentioned that I’d have to cut down quite a bit to make 147 pounds. The lowest I realistically go is 154. I talk about 147 a lot. But if I could make it that would be my dream fight. Because this girl right here is excellent.”
