A video has been circulating this week emanating from the Mayweather gym showing a fighter knocked out during a sparring session that took place in Las Vegas.
Floyd Mayweather was not there himself but plenty of onlookers could be heard in the background.
Mayweather’s gym has become world-famous at this stage but attracted negative publicity a few years back after two fighters appeared on a television show in the gym boxing with rounds or breaks in a brutal spar.
Now this video has surfaced in the same gym:

Shouts of “Whoo!” and “Damn!” clearly audible.
Many fans believe that this was not professional and that instead of shouting what they did should have assisted him in getting back up.
Fight fans have been reacting in their droves since the video dropped:
If you’re getting knocked out like that in sparring with 16oz gloves and headgear, it’s dangerous for you to be a pro.

That’s not sparring, that’s taking liberties.

I’ve seen lots of gym knockouts over the years. The overwhelming majority of them are accidents, and they tend to upset the person scoring it more than the person who has been knocked out.

Disgusting no one helping him, boxing is no joke, sparring partners not sparring enemy … what happens in the gym should stay there, @FloydMayweather @MayweatherPromo should be ashamed of themselves, 1 not helping the kid and 2 releasing footage to boost one kids ego or profile

You get knocked out like that wearing head gear… it’s time to update your resume. You are officially in the market for a career change?
