Lucas Browne suffered a vicious beating and knockout defeat this weekend at London’s 02 Arena from the hands of Dillian Whyte – and Browne’s promoter Ricky Hatton was furious about what some were saying following the fight.
Browne needed medics to enter the ring and help him regain conscious with the help of an oxygen mask, following a few minutes where he was completely out cold.
Thankfully Browne was okay afterwards but that did not stop some people unfortunately sending him and his team some rather tasteless, disgraceful messages.
After which Ricky Hatton said the following:

Hatton then followed up with a more positive update on Browne’s condition:
Just to let everyone know @lucasBrowne is ok.waiting for a scan at the moment but sitting up and talking. So hoping everything is ok.

It is unclear where Browne will go from here.
At one time he did became WBA ‘regular’ world heavyweight champion – which can never be taken away from him.
But whether or not he gets a crack another world title from here on out remains to be seen.
Whyte on the other hand is in pole position for a mandatory at the WBC title at some point this year.
