Disappointing news, but the show must go on as they say. Here’s the official statement from Adam Booth and Katie Taylor’s representatives.

Unfortunately Katie Taylor will not be appearing on the September 19th Thomond Showdown undercard.Speaking yesterday, Adam Booth commented “We believe we did everything we could to make this event happen but unfortunately on this occasion, the outcome was not to be”.

“It is with great regret that Katie Taylor will not be taking part on the Andy Lee Undercard at Thomond Park on September 19th. We would like to wish Andy all the best” – Devlin Sports on behalf of Katie Taylor.
